ABOUT HARRY LAWSON

I’m Harry, but many people call me H.L. I’m a professional photographer based in Washington, DC.

I’ve lived in Washington, DC for 30+ plus years after leaving Harlem, NYC to attend Howard University.

 

My work and life experiences have allowed me to visit hundreds of cities in 44 states over the past 20 plus years and fed my desire to create.

The light of the sun is, in my opinion, the only light I really need to capture moments that weave together stories and memories. I love creating images, whether portraits, through travel, events, or by commission. I also enjoy traveling to new places and am ready to join you where you are to meet your needs.
